The United States has announced a $2.5 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Volodymyr Kadaria, a Belarusian hacker involved in cybercriminal activity.

Volodymyr Kadaria is accused of participating in the distribution of malware such as the Angler Exploit Kit, which was used to attack millions of computers through “malvertising”. The criminal scheme ran from 2013 to 2022 and he is wanted on fraud charges. Kadaria was indicted in June 2023 on a malware fraud charge. His accomplices have already been arrested, but his whereabouts are unknown.
