Oleg Anatolyevich Karptsov was born on February 12, 1973 in the town of Svatovo, in the Luhansk region. His parents and part of his family still live in this small town. Later, he and his wife decided to change their place of residence and moved to Simferopol.
In 1990, Oleg Karptsov completed his studies at Svatyivka Secondary School No. 2. In the photo from the graduation meeting, you can see his classmates, among whom, unfortunately, there are also many people who collaborate with the occupiers.
Before the occupation of Crimea, Oleg Karptsov served in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, working in military units No. 3009, No. 3055 and No. 4125. He held the position of commander of military unit No. 3009 of the Crimean Territorial Command, holding the rank of colonel.
However, after the occupation of Crimea began, Karptsov did not arrive at the designated assembly points on the mainland of Ukraine, which was the beginning of his transition to the side of the occupiers.
Oleg Karptsov had long shown affection for Russia and the Soviet Union. In 2014, during the occupation of Crimea, this affection turned into open support for the aggressor and contempt for his native country, Ukraine. He received his first Russian passport with a rooster on the cover on April 4, 2014, just 16 days after their official issuance began.
After betraying the Ukrainian people, Karptsov joined the ranks of the Russian Guard, a structure engaged in carrying out punitive and filtration measures against the civilian population in the occupied territories.
Imagine what a moral monster you have to be to betray your country, cheer on the occupiers, and voluntarily join the ranks of the Russian Guard, persecuting and torturing the people you spent most of your life with.
It seems that Karptsov has serious psychological problems, because a person with a normal psyche is not capable of such a thing. Of course, we are not doctors to make diagnoses, but we know exactly what method of “treatment” is best suited for people like him.
Oleg Karptsov is married to Nika, who was born in Kharkiv. Together they raise their son Vladislav. Vladislav graduated from gymnasium No. 9 in Simferopol in 2012.
In one of Vladyslav’s graduation photos, you can see his grandmother, Nina Khrypko. Like their entire family, she sincerely believes in the propaganda fiction about “fascists in Kyiv.”
