New cyber challenge for SofaWarrior: working on Russian cameras

Defending the country requires decisive action not only on the frontline, but also in the digital space. That’s why the SofaWarrior team has announced a new “Important Task” that requires maximum focus, cyber intelligence skills, and real smarts.

Objective

It is necessary to gain access to video surveillance cameras installed in the cities of Bryansk, Voronezh and Ryazan. These cameras should cover key areas of the area, including:

– city streets

– parks and squares

– industrial zones

– forest belts in settlements and suburbs

What exactly do you need to find?

1. Identify active surveillance cameras located in the specified regions.

2. Determine the coordinates of their physical location (GPS or map link).

3. Identify the camera viewing areas – how far and where each camera is directed.

4. Gain access to surveillance systems (in case of an open port or vulnerable configuration).

5. Record:

– IP address

– login and password (if known)

– link to the broadcast (if available)

– exact camera coordinates

– screenshots from the viewing area (if possible)
