Amazon has updated its Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, and Ring and Blink cameras, which are powered by the new Alexa+ voice assistant with AI capabilities. At an event in New York, the company showed off updated Echo Dot and Echo Show speakers with new processors, Fire TV with improved screens and the ability to search for scenes in movies using Alexa+, and Kindle Scribe with a color display and the ability to write with a stylus.

The updated Blink cameras now have higher resolution, and Ring has facial recognition to identify visitors. Alexa+ is also integrated into Ring, allowing you to determine whether a person is delivering a package or has suspicious intentions. The cost of the cameras ranges from 60$ to 350$, depending on the model.
Amazon also announced a unique Ring feature: notifications of lost dogs for users in the neighborhood. This turns private safety into a shared concern. The Kindle Scribe is priced at $630, the Fire TV is priced between $160 and $480, and the new streaming stick is priced at $40.
The company has invested billions of dollars in developing Alexa, trying to make it more personalized and natural in communication. Previously, the service remained unprofitable, but with a new level of AI integration, Amazon aims to turn it into a profitable tool for the device ecosystem. The return of Jamie Siminoff, the founder of Ring, to lead the brand symbolizes Amazon’s desire to strengthen the security direction.
Amazon’s presentation showed that the company is betting on AI and the “smart home” ecosystem, combining personal devices, cameras and TVs under the control of Alexa+. This is a step towards a more integrated and secure digital life, where AI helps not only in everyday life, but also in protection.
