Engineers from Uzhhorod presented a new drone-bomber “Gorgon”, capable of carrying up to 5 kg of explosives and returning after an attack. The development was created by the “Riy” team – a volunteer project that has already produced more than 700 drones. The money is being collected by the entire Transcarpathia region.

“Gorgon” is a 15-inch bomber with two 2 kg warheads, a digital camera, a powerful battery and special software. It can operate at a long distance, hit fortified positions, accumulations of equipment and manpower, and at the same time return to base.
All engineers of the “Riy” project have a technical education. They started with kamikaze drones, then moved on to reusable models and are now creating high-precision platforms at the request of brigades. In particular, they cooperate with the 68th Jaeger, 33rd and 101st Transcarpathian TRO.
Engineers not only develop new drones, but also rework Russian ones that “put down” our electronic warfare units – they have modernized more than 100 enemy FPVs in a year. All drones have their own names: “Ghost”, “Karakurt”, “Pergach”, and now – “Gorgon”.
Some of the devices are called “revenge drones”, which are financed by the relatives of the fallen soldiers. Each device is personalized, signed, and aimed precisely at the target.
Team leader Volodymyr Suran emphasizes: volunteer gatherings continue steadily, and requests from the front do not decrease. Tasks change – drones are adapted. This is a living, flexible system for supplying technologies for war.
