Dmytro Rogozin currently holds the position of “senator from the Zaporizhia region” in the Russian parliament after the fake elections in the occupied territories of Ukraine. He actively comments on the situation at the front and is the founder and head of the “Tsarski Vovki” military group. This group provides military-technical support to the “ldnr” formations and acts as a “volunteer unit”. According to Rogozin, its members include military advisers and specialists in military-technical issues.

Dmytro Rogozin claims that he voluntarily participated in hostilities in Transnistria, where he met General Oleksandr Lebed. In 1993, they founded the nationalist political movement “Congress of Russian Communities” (KRO), which represented the interests of Russian-speaking residents of the countries of the former USSR. At the end of the same year, KRO took part in the elections to the State Duma, but were defeated.

On July 15, 2022, he was dismissed from the position of General Director of Roscosmos.
In May 2022, Dmytro Rogozin accused Elon Musk of transferring Starlink to Ukraine, writing that Musk would have to answer for it. However, Rogozin later expressed his admiration for Musk, noting that he understands the essence of the Kyiv government, but continues to provide it and NATO with a military connection.
