An armored smartphone with an improved battery, a fresh chip and 7-year security support, focused on the corporate sector. At the same time, the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro tablet with a more powerful battery and more memory was also shown.

The Galaxy XCover7 Pro smartphone is equipped with a 4350 mAh battery (instead of the previous 4050 mAh), an updated Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, and also runs on Android 15. But most of the parameters have remained unchanged: a dual camera with a 50 MP main module and a 13 MP selfie camera, Dual SIM support, MIL-STD, IPX8 and IP6X protection standards.

Additionally, the gadget is equipped with built-in AI functions: Circle to Search, Object Eraser, AI Select and Read Aloud.

At the same time, the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro received a 10,100 mAh battery (+25%), as well as a basic configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The tablet has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip.

Samsung Galaxy XCover is a line of secure devices that are widely used in industry, logistics, delivery services and law enforcement agencies. The company positions the new product as part of a corporate solution with long-term support: 7 years of security updates is a significant advantage over competitors. Given the unstable trade situation (especially potential tariffs in the US), prices have not yet been announced.

Samsung is betting on stability and reliability, rather than a technological revolution. XCover7 Pro and Tab Active5 Pro are more like “workhorses” than flagships, but this is what corporate customers appreciate. The key innovation is the long-term support that companies around the world have been waiting for.
