According to the What’s on Netflix resource, the leak most likely occurred on Netflix’s internal platform. It is more likely that an external user had access, but it is not yet clear whether he had official rights to the content. What exactly was leaked? Among the materials shared online were

  • frames from the new season
  • character designs and logos
  • work by Netflix artists
  • information about the plots and fates of key characters

This is not the first Netflix content leak: in August 2024, attackers stole and posted entire episodes of animated series, including: Arcane (season 2), Heartstopper (season 3), Terminator Zero, Ranma ½. At the time, Netflix announced that the hack occurred because one of its partners was compromised.

Despite Netflix’s efforts to stop and control the leak, spoilers are still spreading online. This further proves that product storage platforms are vulnerable to attack. With the final season set to air in October and November 2025, viewers who don’t want to be exposed to spoilers should be careful on social media.
