Hunt for Terrorgram — US neutralizes digital terrorist

The US Department of Justice has charged a 24-year-old member of the online group Terrorgram with conspiring to assassinate American officials. Noah Lamb, a member of the extremist organization, developed a “target list” with other defendants to physically eliminate individuals selected on the basis of race, religion or gender.

According to the investigation, Lamb is involved in creating a “hit list” of officials, activists and representatives of companies that the group considered “enemies of the white race”. He was charged with eight federal charges, including:

• conspiracy to murder federal employees,
• incitement to murder,
• publication of personal data (doxxing),
• threats through communication channels.

If convicted, he faces up to 85 years in prison. This case is connected to the earlier arrests of other members of Terrorgram — Matthew Allison and Dallas Humber, who are suspected of planning attacks on critical infrastructure and distributing instructions for making explosives.

Terrorgram is not just a Telegram channel. It is a network of neo-Nazis who have been promoting the ideas of race war and armed rebellion since 2017. According to the DoJ, they:

•  publish lists of targets for attacks,

•  distribute manuals for terrorist actions,

•  train members on how to attack LGBT communities, mosques, energy facilities.

The organization is recognized as a terrorist organization in the United States, Britain and Australia.

In 2024, it was linked to an attack in Turkey, an attempted bombing in New Jersey and a shooting near a gay bar in Slovakia. This arrest is a significant step in the fight against digital terror. It shows that even when extremists hide behind Telegram channels and aliases, law enforcement can identify and neutralize the most dangerous ones. The US is sending a clear signal: online conspiracies are a real threat, for which there will be real punishment.
