The Security Service of Ukraine created the “Spaly FSBeshnyk” chatbot for prompt collection of information about attempts by Russian special services to recruit citizens of Ukraine, in particular young people, for arson, terrorist attacks and other subversive actions.

The SBU launched the t.me/spaly_fsb_bot chatbot in the Telegram messenger, as this is the platform most often used by Russian special services to communicate with potential perpetrators. Through the bot, citizens can quickly transmit information about recruitment attempts:

  • Objects of sabotage that were proposed to be destroyed;
  • Social network or messenger where the contact took place;
  • Phone number or nickname of persons who instigated the crime.

All messages sent will be treated with the guarantee of complete confidentiality. The Security Service of Ukraine emphasizes that actions such as setting fire to cars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, TCC, buildings, or planting explosives are serious criminal offenses punishable by up to 10 years in prison, even for minors.

At the time of full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, Russian special services intensified attempts to destabilize the country by recruiting citizens to commit acts of terrorism and sabotage. Special emphasis is placed on youth and minors, who may not be fully aware of the seriousness of their actions.

The SBU calls on citizens: do not succumb to enemy provocations. If they are trying to involve you in a crime, use the “Spaly FSBeshnyk” chatbot to promptly report suspicious activity and help protect Ukraine from internal threats.
