AeroDrone specializes in the development and production of agricultural drones. It was founded in 2015 by Yuriy Pederii, a graduate of the National Aviation University. In 2022, the company began producing unmanned aerial vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the same year, Ukrainian businessman and MP Dmytro Shymkiv joined the AeroDrone co-owners.
In early December, Dmytro Shymkiv reported that AeroDrone had received permission to use two drone models in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One of these models is the D80-Discovery, which is capable of lifting loads of up to 80 kilograms, developing a maximum speed of 120 km/h with a maximum flight altitude of up to 2 kilometers. This drone is designed for aerial photography of large areas, as well as for detecting mines and other munitions both on land and under water.
Another model, the E-300 Enterprise, is designed to transport cargo weighing up to 300 kilograms. Initially, the drone was considered an unmanned courier aircraft for delivering goods at a speed of 150 km/h, but experts suggest that it can also be used to transport goods to military positions.
After the successful certification of autonomous AeroDrone aircraft in Ukraine, their serial production began. The company signed an agreement with the Ministry of Defense to supply the first batch of drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Dmytro Shymkiv, the cost of such unmanned aircraft ranges from 250,000 to 450,000 US dollars.
“BLACK RAVEN” is a non-profit organization that unites an army of volunteers aimed at the development of Ukrainian aircraft manufacturing and modern military technologies. It was founded by five Ukrainian businessmen who chose to remain anonymous. The main activity of “BLACK RAVEN” is the production of FPV kamikaze drones, as well as the development of reconnaissance and strike equipment. In addition, the organization is engaged in training unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators.
One of the organization’s main products is the FPV kamikaze drone eBOSH 7, designed to clear the enemy indoors and combat lightly armored vehicles. This drone is capable of speeds up to 180 km/h, and its cost is from 700 to 1500 US dollars.
The team of the public organization “Black Raven” consists of about 50 people and currently does not plan to expand.
UA Dynamics specializes in creating light strike and reconnaissance unmanned systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company’s main product is the Punisher complex, designed for reconnaissance, logistics and enemy destruction. Founded by a group of war veterans, the company has 12 founders, 90% of whom have military experience. Among the public figures representing UA Dynamics, Dmitry Tomchuk and CEO Maksym Muzyka are well-known.
The development of the Punisher reusable strike drone began in 2016, but all details of the project remained classified for a long time. The drone is equipped with an electric motor that ensures silent flight and is able to stay in the air for up to three hours. The mass of the device with full ammunition is 7.5 kilograms, and the wingspan is 2.25 meters. The drone can perform combat missions within a radius of about 45 kilometers.
The unmanned complex includes two drones — a reconnaissance and a strike drone, as well as packaging materials, batteries, a launch catapult, and a control station. The cost of the complex is $70,000.
Spaitech is one of the largest manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine and has been developing its own unmanned systems since 2012. During this time, the company has gained a reputation as a reliable manufacturer of drones for various purposes, including military and reconnaissance missions.
One of Spaitech’s most famous developments is the Sparrow drone. This drone has the shape of a “flying wing” and is equipped with a gyro-stabilized camera and a thermal imager, which allows it to perform complex reconnaissance operations both day and night. An important advantage of the complex is the minimal time required for preparation and deployment — only 15 minutes, which ensures efficiency in performing combat missions.
The Sparrow drone has successfully passed departmental tests, confirming its effectiveness and reliability in field conditions. Currently, Spaitech continues to improve its unmanned systems and is actively expanding its development team. In particular, Spaitech is looking for a C++/Qt developer with experience working on the Linux platform to further develop its products.
Shark is a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle complex created in response to the full-scale invasion of Russia. This drone is equipped with a high-tech camera with a 30x optical zoom and additional digital zoom, which allows for detailed reconnaissance at a considerable distance.
The cruising speed of the drone is from 70 to 90 km/h, and the maximum speed reaches 150 km/h. Thanks to such dynamics, Shark is able to effectively perform tasks behind enemy lines. The drone is launched using a catapult, and the landing is carried out using a parachute, which ensures the safe return of the device after the mission.
Shark is distinguished by its high mobility and ability to operate in combat conditions, which makes it a valuable tool for reconnaissance and data collection deep behind enemy lines.
DeViRo is a Dnipro company founded in 2014 that specializes in the design, development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The company occupies an important place in the Ukrainian drone market due to its high-tech solutions in the field of unmanned aviation.
One of DeViRo’s key products is the “Saikonia” drone. This device is capable of staying in the air for up to four hours, providing a flight range of up to two hundred kilometers. The drone’s control radius is fifty kilometers. The drone’s design is quickly assembled for operation – it takes only fifteen minutes. The cost of one “Saikonia” drone is approximately $ 140 thousand.
Another landmark development of the company is the multifunctional “Leleka-100” drone, designed for aerial reconnaissance and accurate determination of geographical coordinates of objects in real time. Due to its technical capabilities, this drone has become an important element in providing accurate intelligence data.
DeViRo continues to develop and improve its unmanned systems, making a significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
The company “Aviation Systems of Ukraine” (ASU) began its activities as a volunteer project, and since 2015 has been engaged in the development and production of unmanned aviation complexes called “Valkyrie”. This drone is designed according to the “Wings” scheme and is intended for both military and civilian use.
The main purpose of the “Valkyrie” drone includes aerial photography, search and rescue operations, reconnaissance missions and escorting military columns. Due to its technical characteristics, it ensures the effective performance of tasks both in combat conditions and during civilian operations.
The “Valkyrie” complex includes three unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with day and night payloads, a ground control station (protected laptop), an antenna and additional equipment. An important feature is fully automated take-off and landing, which ensures stable operation even in difficult conditions.
The wingspan of the drone is 160 cm, and the maximum time in the air is up to two hours. Due to its autonomy and reliability, the Valkyrie complex is widely used in both the military and civilian projects.

Due to its technical characteristics, this drone ensures the effective performance of tasks with high accuracy.

Thanks to such parameters, this drone allows you to carry out precise strikes even in hard-to-reach areas.

The Ukrainian company Ukrjet presented the UJ-22 Airborne unmanned aerial vehicle at the 2021 arms exhibition. This drone is designed to perform reconnaissance operations, transport cargo and strike missions. It is characterized by a long flight range and versatility of use, which makes it an important element of military tactics.
The UJ-22 Airborne drone is capable of covering a radius of up to 800 km, rising to a height of up to 6,000 meters. The maximum flight speed is from 140 to 200 km/h, and the autonomy in the air is up to 14 hours with a payload of up to 20 kg. This flight duration allows you to effectively perform reconnaissance and transport missions over a considerable distance.
The company has also developed the UJ-23 TOPAZ reactive multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle. This drone can perform combat missions at any time of the day and in any weather conditions, even in the presence of electronic countermeasures from the enemy. Due to its capabilities, the UJ-23 is used for reconnaissance operations and military search and rescue missions.
The TOPAZ drone has a maximum range of up to 400 km in autonomous mode and a cruising speed of up to 600 km/h. It can climb to an altitude of up to 6,000 meters and stay in the air for up to 1.5 hours. Due to its technical characteristics, the drone provides a quick response to operational calls even in difficult conditions.
