Does it make sense to talk about Windows, but does it make sense to talk about the 10 series?

It seems to me that everyone already knows everything about this OS, its features, advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, the “top ten” has collected the best from the seventh and eighth series. But that’s not all. We still have something to talk about. If we have already opened the topic, then I want to pay attention to such a moment as data collection in Windows 10. It deserves special attention. There is a system capability to transfer various information from a user device to Microsoft Corporation. The peculiarity is that the amount of data transferred is much larger than any other previous OS. The most controversial point is confidentiality. Microsoft reserves the right to share this information with third parties, such as software developers. As with any major software product, after the release there was a large amount of criticism of various kinds.

First of all, many did not like the data collection system. We have already mentioned how much information about the user is sent by Microsoft. This may include location, contacts and frequency of conversations with them, email data, and more. But no signs of illegal actions on the part of the company are provided by law, since this moment is indicated in the license agreement. this is a minus that, due to its great popularity, a large number of viruses, backdoors, hidden miners, and advertising programs are written for it. Under Windows, there are different code editors, development tools, as well as in Linux, but they have their own characteristics and disadvantages. Windows often comes with your computer, but the current edition of Windows may not be suitable for some tasks and you will need to purchase the correct edition of Windows.

Create a Windows logon password. Select the language and version of Windows according to your distribution.

In our case, this is, for example, Windows 10 Home. Click the Continue button.

Step 6

Choose how the system integrates between More Seamless or More Isolated.

  • More Seamless – VMware Fusion will provide access to Mac documents and programs on Windows. Files on a macOS computer supported by Windows will open in the created virtual machine. Windows will be able to modify Mac documents. When choosing this integration method, you will need to pay great attention to security, since the programs installed on the virtual machine will affect the main OS.
  • More Isolated – VMware Fusion does not share documents and applications between macOS and Windows. Both systems will be completely isolated from each other. To copy files, you will need to manually drag and drop files.

If you plan to use a virtual machine to test new applications, More Seamless is the better choice.

Once selected, click Continue.

Step 7

By clicking on Customize Settings, you can optionally manually specify the parameters of the virtual machine. If the default settings are configured, click the Finish button.

Step 8
