Twitter “now it’s X” is a popular social network and microblogging platform where users can post short messages (tweets) with a limited length of no more than 280 characters. On October 27, 2022, the agreement was signed. Ilon became the head of the company. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal and two other senior employees have stepped down from management. On July 24, 2023, Twitter’s homepage was renamed to “X”, and a day earlier a redirect from the x.com domain to twitter.com was set up. The new logo of the social network is a white letter X on a black background. According to Musk, tweets will be renamed “xs”. Businessmen also noted that the rebranding is related to the fact that earlier in the application it was possible to communicate by posting short messages of 140 characters, but now “you can publish almost anything that is convenient, including several hours of video.
